Farm Workers Awareness Part 2

Posted in 2015

Hello! Onto the second part of the mini-blog posts regarding Farm Worker's Awareness.

The article for this post focuses on the injustices that farm workers face when they report injuries or injustices (ie. working too many hours, unsafe work conditions, lack of protective equipment or abuse from employers) and the activism that has risen from people moving to protect migrant workers.

Normally, workers are limited in the type of help they can receive and often their concerns are pushed to their side. This article aims to highlight the reactions workers have received by reporting and some efforts that aim to help workers receive help.

Happy Reading everyone!
